“The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.” (Genesis 3:21)

No doubt that this was the mother and father of all sins; even as sin started in heaven by Lucifer, Adam and Eve were Satan’s instruments to introduce sin into humanity. From a child stealing a chocolate bar at the corner store, to the rapist; from the traffic violator, to the serial killer; from the tax cheater, to the violent aggressor and more…they were all birthed in the Garden of Eden.  However, with all and in all, God clothed them and, even in their sin and shame, He covered them with His love. Yes, there were some serious consequences, however God’s love “never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:8). God’s love continues to stand strong today. If God reached out to Adam and Eve and covered them…how much more can He do for you? Repent and go after God! He wants to take away your sin and your shame. Proverbs 10:12 tells us:

“…love covers all sins.”

Beloved, this verse is not speaking of a cover-up where you run away from your responsibility and embrace the “La Vida Loca” of sin: God will deal with us in the brutality of His discipline!  However, we must understand that God is able to see beyond our sin and present condition into our destiny and future. God loves you and nothing will stop Him from coming after you; however…do you want His covering of Love in your life? Let God restore you!

Indeed, you are God’s project, and He is not finished yet, but neither will He ever fail. You simply need to allow Him to shape and mold and reshape you into the kind of person He has designed you to be. He may utilize hardships, deprivation, or anything less than pleasant, as well as whatever positive blessings to enrich your life and make you that special vessel He desires you to become!
